CJ’s prides itself in its focus on understanding its customer’s business requirements, and are committed to providing a quality service at competitive prices.

History

Two partners, Colin Rutland and Jon Haigh, established CJ’s Logistics Solutions in 1997. With over 20 years of joint industry experience between them, the business was started up with a fleet of 2 medium sized vans supporting a customer base of 20 in the Milton Keynes area.

By 1999 the Milton Keynes operation had grown to a customer base of 50, supported by a fleet of 10 vehicles ranging from small vans to 7.5 ton vehicles. Subsequently, a second operation was successfully opened in Northampton to support the growth of the business and to provide additional business synergies and specialist delivery solutions demanded by the existing customer base.

In 2000 the company successfully launched a third branch in South Bucks. CJ’s South Bucks successfully took ownership of all the accounts within its nominated postcode areas, including several large ‘Blue Chip’ accounts. This then allowed the partners to concentrate on developing and adding value to the services it provided to all its accounts in the Milton Keynes and Northants areas.
